While still being cared for at home, Marie and Aaron would find enjoyment in dancing to oldies (usually Elvis, but occasionally Neil Diamond).

Before becoming a teacher, Marie was a beautician and owned her own beauty shop. She was always drawn to the beauty shop to get her nails painted and her hair colored.
During February 2021, it snowed in Texas! Thanks to the caregivers at Silverado, Marie got to play with a snowball! It was some much-needed joy during an otherwise stressful few days
